Position Summary

The Finance Leadership Development Program (FLDP) is part of the Light & Wonder Finance team and is tailored toward individuals who have recently graduated and are passionate and interested in gaining experience in a broad set of finance competencies. Participants will be part of a cross-functional team (CFO Organization) supporting the business through potential assignments in Corporate Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, Internal Audit, Treasury, Accounts Payable & Receivable, and more.

The FLDP is a two-year rotational program providing a breadth of accounting, core financial, and analytical skills. During the program, participants will receive experience across the CFO organization, which will serve as an excellent foundation for a career in corporate finance and accounting. While in the program and upon completion, successful graduates will be coached and mentored to identify the best full-time role post-program.

*This role is based at our Headquarters in Las Vegas, Nevada. Relocation assistance will be provided for candidates outside of Las Vegas.The start date is scheduled for July 22. 2024


Responsibilities
* Collaborate closely with functional leaders to gain an understanding of your assigned function and how it impacts the overall growth of Light & Wonder
* Apply accounting/business knowledge to perform daily functions
* Utilize critical thinking and fact-gathering skills to create analyses assisting with decision-making
* Utilize systems/tools to analyze financial data
* Engage with business partners across Light & Wonder to support business objectives and develop an understanding of the business
* Other responsibilities may vary based on specific teams
* Four, 6-month rotations in each assigned area will be required to complete the program
* Complete practical training requirements during each rotation including both on and off-the-job training each semester working to develop financial and business acumen
* Potential to travel to other locations for assignments

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration with a graduation date of Spring 2024

  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0

  • Strong record of extracurricular leadership: athletics, student government, community service, etc.

  • Previous internship or co-op experience in Finance or related fields preferred

  • Previous international experience a plus

The targeted salary for this role is $65,000. The total compensation package for this position may also include applicable incentive compensation, such as an annual performance bonus. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, specific work geography, as well as internal equity, and alignment with market data.
