Valiant is seeking an Administrative Assistant for W-TRS. Potential locations could include: California, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Carolina, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Washington, Korea and potential additional CONUS locations.
Essential job duties include but are not limited to:
Standard administrative duties include tracking action items and follow-up to ensure actions are completed on-time, setup, and support of a variety of meetings including catering arrangements, visit requests, conference meetings room and guest office arrangements, electronic equipment, arrange & start VTC's, Skype, and or Teams meetings, setup, and support of a variety of meetings involving Internal and External Customer attendees.
Responsibilities:
- Position involves a high volume of calendar management activity which includes ability to re-work and de-conflict calendar schedule.
- Manage common access card (CAC) requests; applications and ensuring all criteria(s) are met. Assist processing contractors for deployment and redeployment and process necessary documentation for the contractor to be processed common access cards (CAC).
- Ensure site visit requests are processed, handle external visitor requests.
- Arrange travel plans (domestic and international as well as ground transportation) that often require multiple changes to meet changing business schedule.
- Responsible for processing expense reports/ as well as reconciling corporate travel card.
- Prepare reports as required; Perform all other duties as assigned.
- Take calls, respond to inquiries, and provide customer service.
Requirements for this role include:
- Willing to work a flexible workweek.
- Must have or be able to obtain a valid state driver's license and maintain post driving privileges.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background investigation.
Basic Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, works well with peer admins, demonstrated dependability and the utmost discretion and confidentiality.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook and SharePoint
- Excellent multi-tasking ability and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Two years of college studies or five years of directly related work experience.
- Possess an Active Secret US Government Clearance or ability to obtain a clearance.
Desired Skills:
- Previous Army Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS) experience highly desired
