Director, External Scientific Exchange (Targeted Medicine Oncology)
The Director, External Scientific Exchange is responsible for developing and executing an overarching top thought leader engagement plan, advisory and medical congress engagement to support Bayer Targeted Medicine (TM) Oncology. Serve as coordinator for the field medical team to provide accurate and scientifically balanced information to Thought Leaders (TLs) and identify new opportunities for engagement to ensure impactful Thought Leader (TL) planning and engagement of the Target Medicine Franchise. Have an understanding of the top 100 TLs across the county, the TL strategy and therapeutic area landscape, and along with the Medical Director(s), Director(s), and/or TA VP, help translate the MA plan into field medical strategies and tactics. Lead coordination and execution of top TL activities for external and internal stakeholders, such as congresses and research proposals, with cross-functional partners (including but not limited to USMA, GMA, Global and US Commercial) to provide best in class TL management. Through collaboration, cross functional partners will recognize the Director, External Scientific Exchange as a partner and resource for US TL engagement strategy.

Employees can expect to be paid a salary of between $190,398 to $285,598. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc.. This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant's location, market data/ranges, an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
